I think I see the cause. Notice the numbers on the house are mirrored? They took the picture on a phone that’s reversing the pictures. So left is right, and right is left. It’s a mirrored image.

Good evening, Tomatoboy and others: Good catch! I note many pics on facebook are flipped the same way. Can they be reversed or did that happen when the pic was being made? Thanks for any info...

Dennis - whip out your cell phone, hold something with writing next to your face and take a 'selfie'. My phone reverses the photo.

Change to the other setting on your phone to take some photo with writing as we all did with the 'ole 35mm cameras. Taking the picture from the front lens should give you readable writing.

Now you'll start looking at tee shirts in internet photographs and smile when you see those that are "negatives".

I've noticed a lot more reverse images taken from apple phones than android, not sure why though.
