Battery Charger

I have a 12 volt battery charger, it has two displays, with a needle that goes into the red zone, white zone and green zone. ONe says Alternator onthe left display and battery on the right side of the display. When I charge a battery, Im not sure what I am to look for when the battery is charged..hope this makes sence. I would ready the instructions, but there are none. Thaks for any help.

The meter on the left is a voltmeter for using the charger (unplugged or shut off) as an alternator tester on a RUNNING vehicle. I would ASSUME it will also read battery voltage while charging, and coming up into the green would indicate the battery is coming up to charge.

I would ASSUME the other meter reads AMPS and should stay in the green zone, only going into the red zone when the charger is in "BOOST" function.

Pretty much as Bob said.
You should be able to get an operators manual from the manufacturer. Some law on that I think.

Yes, try to "google" the brand and model, many companys have the operators manuals online so you can read and print your own copy.
