as for where to go on the forum, you're here, on the N board. start a new thread on this board if u want, or ask here in this thread
i run straight 30W in mine, but there are many answers to that question. a 50/50 mix of normal antifreeze and water is a much more agreed upon thing.
Amen to that! This is the spot.
Buckeye, I'm in central Michigan (HFJ is close to me) I run
a different oil than he does but I agree on the antifreeze.
I also rebuild carbs for many of the forum members here.
Since you said "it ran flawlessly" on the way home, I doubt
that is your current problem unless the SeaFoam broke some
crud loose and plugged your carb up with it.
Even if that is the case, just a "kit" doesn't cut it.
It would need to be thoroughly cleaned before the kit is put in.
Each passage needs to be cleaned and verified open.
That said, if you can clean, you can do it.
And I'd be willing to help you do it yourself if you want to.
As for the blade, if you can find a front mounted blade that
is the way to go. Plowing in reverse and looking over your
shoulder all the time gets old in a hurry!
Some pics, the carb off one of my Jubilees before and after.
Then a couple of my snowplow setups on N series.
