Where is the best place to get them? I have been meaning to get them for a while. TIA
You can get them on Geo's favorite site, and ebay and a million other places. Some of the best HD units I've seen were sold by Cole-Hersee.Where is the best place to get them? I have been meaning to get them for a while. TIA
Pollak sells good HD units, as well. Apparently, the larger unit in my photo is actually a Pollak. You can get them on Geo's favorite site, and ebay and a million other places. Some of the best HD units I've seen were sold by Cole-Hersee.

In the photo are a light-duty versionI installed several years ago on a DEERE "318" and I'm holding a heavier-duty unit in my hand.
They come from the Land of Almost Right. I like the ones NAPA sells.

This works just fine for me. Have 3 tractors and Toyota Tundra hooked up with them and they all work. Last for years. Steiner has them. Fleet Farm has them.Where is the best place to get them? I have been meaning to get them for a while. TIA
I got one like that on Amazon for my Farmall C. Put it on the negative side and seems to be working ok so far. The price was right. This works just fine for me. Have 3 tractors and Toyota Tundra hooked up with them and they all work. Last for years. Steiner has them. Fleet Farm has them.
They seam odd if you get crafty they make for a clean instillation and work well. This is a cheap one they make them with a voltmeter indicator now.If you want a high-quality switch, look at those intended for marine applications. These switches are intended to keep working after they've been repeatedly doused in salt water, a far more severe environment than your typical farm tractor.
Blue Sea Systems makes a variety of switches in different configurations and ratings. And unlike most brands, theirs are fairly compact. The Blue Seas 'mini' switches are rated at 300 amps continuous, 500 amps intermittent. They are designed so they can be either surface or flush mounted.
