Battery tray ?

Hello, I have a 4600SU and am replacing the battery tray. Ordered a new one online and it appears correct,but when I installed it the top hole where the pin goes thru is off by a half moon. the bracket on the front that keeps it in place is in the right spot.The tray is against the mount on the tractor. Are there different trays ? or did i get a monday tray? I had a 4400 loaderback hoe and that tray swapped ok any thoughts?

I think every vendor uses the same manufacture. I tried twice from different vendors and they were the same part. I ended up cutting the spot welds from the tray and getting somebody to reweld the tray to the mount/support.

I have discovered that when repairing, restoring etc. tractors with re-pop parts you have to have lots of good drill bits, files of various sizes, a wire welder, a hone (can be handy), a propane forge, and
patience.

Sorry to be slow in responding. weather has not been helping. Anyway last nite i got back out on the tractor. Looks like there is a piece of 3/8 in rod welded on the tray mounting bracket that keeps it from sliding back far enough to align the hole for the pin. Tapped it a few times to see if it would break off. no luck so marked the tray and will remove some material and see if it fits.
