BBJD cubic inch kits?

I have heard of 640 and 680 BBJD engines but what other combos are out there? What are the recipes for big inches? What are the bore/stroke combos? What rods are used? Who makes the overbore liner kits? My 619 has some blowby and I have never opened the engine up since I bought it used and am trying to put a game plan together. Who can supply a cut head gasket with seamless fire rings/orings to handle high boost? Thanks

Our tractor is a small block but we get a real nice head gasket from Hypermax for about 240.00 I believe. We get the fire rings from a company called sealtec. The liners would need to be cut for the fire rings. You can get liners from powerbore cylinder sleeves which is in my hometown of Salem, Ohio. Last I bought them, they were about 100.00 each. You can get custom pistons made from different piston companies but a set of 6 is about 3600.00

I am not real familiar with big block deeres but I have heard of guys offset grinding a big block crank to the size of small block journals and running small block rods such as from a 466 engine. I am not sure what stroke this would give you. Serious pullers usually run billet rods which last I checked were about 600.00 each.

I have heard of big block deeres up around 780 inches and I am sure its possible to go even bigger. Heck they take 466 motors up to 680 inches.

Thanks Jim! I know it is going to be costly when I do it so I am trying to start collecting parts now. Been trying to look for take out parts too. If I can get the exact recipe for a few motor sizes, then I will know exactly what to look for. Hard to find all that info. I read somewhere that one combo used DT407 rods on an offset crank. I just happen to have a DT407 already.

One thing I believe that makes a 619 expensive is the size of the pistons. I know a real common thing in small block john deeres on a budget is to use cat 3306 pistons which are 4 3/4. You can buy these for around 50.00 each. I believe 619 pistons are 5 1/8. A 466 motor has 4 9/16 pistons stock but you can buy sleeves that drop right in to take them out to 4 3/4. You can bore the block to accept 4 7/8 sleeves and maybe bigger. Im sure you could get some pretty big pistons in a 619 but not familiar with what size they usually use. Probably some truck piston that you could use but most pullers today are running custom made forged pistons but I am guessing custom pistons this large will set you back atleast 700.00 each and rings probably atleast 100.00 per cylinder. Just stock 619 pistons and an offset ground crank would get you some pretty good cubes. Stroking the crank will set you back a little but probably much cheaper than custom liners and pistons.
