Managed to roll the Super H today. Running down the road had a damn pheasant fly out of the ditch and just about hit me. Scared me enough I jerked the wheel a little too much the wrong way. we had a hell of a wreck. Managed to just get a scrape on my left shin. Never knew I could jump that far, but when I rolled over to get up the rear tire was about 3 feet from me still spinning.

Things happen so fast you don't know until it is over. I ran over my leg last year with my 364 and was lucky it was just my lower leg and no broken bones but I was 3 months getting healed up and just got going good again in the fall. Sure as he double el hope I never have that happen again.

That looks like it will buff out . Did you fly like Superman ? I did when I wrecked a motorcycle once... Glad you are ok , even a Super H is enough to make a mess out of you if it rolls over you , probably a good thing that pheasant came at you on the Super H and not when you were on the crotch rocket , probably would have been harder to stick the landing .

I dont know if I flew..........but I sure as hell jumped a long way :shock:

Ive wrecked quite a few motorcycles and I can clearly say this........I don't wanna roll another tractor, ill just stick to wrecking bikes.

Once I got it in the shop and looked it over the entire sprayer and related parts are toast. bent a couple things on the mower but I think its easily fixable. Entire seat assembly is bent over to the side. Only sheetmetal damage was a dimple in the hood from the exhaust bending over. She starts right up and runs good still so that's a plus.


Im not irish..........but I sure am lucky today!

Good to hear your okay Old F-20. We have pretty much the same tractor & mower. Just not a Super other wise could be a twin. Once you have a free moment, could you take a picture of the shield that goes over the pulley from the pto. This one is missing. Don't think I will do any road gear with this H any more.

Glad to hear you are ok. Things like this WILL happen. Good news is, you are not badly hurt. Second good news is, the tractor seems to have taken the least of it...........mower and sprayer, not so much.

Still, you are up and about to talk about it...........which is the MOST important thing!

Glad to hear you are not seriously injured!!! From the pic it looks like the old SH is not bent up to badly. All in all you are very fortunate and you should probably go buy a lotto ticket. Glad you are alright. Sore I am sure today.

Just looking at the pictures raises my heart beat. I once helped drag a man out from under an overturned M in a road ditch. He didnt make it. Its good you came out OK.

it took me a while to figure out what you were asking for then I figured it out. Mine doesn't have the big cover that goes over the rear pulley and the belt. I bought it that way and never really thought much about it.

Ive seen them on a majority of the Woods mowers out there, but mine is an ArtsWay

As an ER doctor in rural Iowa, I know a little about farm accidents. The number one cause of farm fatalites nation wide is associated with the operation of a tractor. Over 70% of those are caused by roll overs just like yours. In the last 30 years of practice I have seen several that did not turn out as well as yours did. The muffler, manifold and steering wheel can be easily replaced. Thank GOD that you are going to be around to do the work. I rolled an H when I was 14 years old mowing road ditches for my dad. I will never forget how terrified I was watching that rear tire zoom past my head even though it was low speed and a slow roll. Be well my friend, and stay safe. (I may need your advice someday when I can't make my '29 Regular run)

IM 37 but living in the body of a 50 year old. I was a little sore the next day. Knees were a little stiff but I deal with that most days anyway. Still thinking about how lucky I was to escape that one
