A neighbor that was a pretty fair mechanic told me in high school that your bench only needs to be a 4 foot square. If it is bigger than that, it will just collect junk. 50 years of observing work benches, I believe he is correct.
 
Can't have too many workbenches or shelves.

Neither is the building ever big enough!

Without will power or lack of funds, I see something I would like to have but really won't use often.
But it is a super bargain and I have room for it.
Until I don't, dang it.
 
If I did that it might last 24 hours. Then go right back to the mess it is now.

Yours looks good though.
