What is best head gasket for an Allis Chalmers D17 motor, the one that comes with a gasket kit or a copper one?

You can reuse a copper one. But I had to put stopleak in to seal the water seaps. I used a stock type head gasket on a long stroke 4.5 bore. And never had any trouble. With 4.55 inside diameter fire rings.
