Best Hydraulic Pump Retailer

Good Afternoon to Everyone. I am bumping up my hydraulic pump on the 4640 from the 3cm to the 4cm size and just wondered where to buy. I see Reliable Aftermarket Parts has it at $949 with $110 for a two year warranty while Complete Tractor has it for the same with a one year warranty provided. Surplus Center and Atlantic are as I recall maybe a couple of hundred higher. Always like to save a buck unless the risk outweighs and thought I would see what others had experienced.

Many thanks,

Greg

I would have to go through my invoices from a couple of years ago but I had poor luck on a Turkish made pump for our articulated 8430. When we went to install it a couple of years ago it would leak through the one plate and had to have the retailer bench test a couple of others on their shelf and had them leak in the same manner. Finally after a reorder we got one to put on and it seems a little noisy. This spring a bolt that mounts to the crank pulley was the latest problem and I am seriously considering finding an American made pump in a salvage yard and having it rebuilt.

I am not very good at hydraulics, so I might be leading you astray. I had my 9610 hydo rebuilt by Central Hydraulics, El Paso, IL @ 800-694-9376 or centralhydraulics.biz. They came with high recommendations.
