Big bud 700

I seen this evening the Welkers out of Montana got their Bud 700 going, quite a project for those of you who follow them. I was impressed with all of the fab work and how well everything worked out. Pretty impressive tractor built in a farm shop considering the amount of new technology they also implemented into it.

I happened to start watching them just about the time the tractor build started. I totally agree. Quite a project. I have neighbor/friends going to a midwest show. I imagine it has to be the one where this tractor will be. I'm going to ask them for sure. And kudos to Demco for building the cart. This is not the first time they have extended themselves in such a way. If I had the need and the money, they would have my business.

All the planning and getting parts for that project, so much more hair pulling must have gone on in the background to make that project work out in a farm shop! Been fun to watch.

Around eight years ago I googled "Big Bud" and one of their videos where they were rebuilding one of their other Big buds came up. I have been watching them ever since.

I watched the build too. At times during the machining of parts, I felt like I could have offered Legarms some potentially helpful suggestions. But when he did the wiring, he could have taught me the better ways. All the Welkers have a can-do attitude and have my respect for that trait !

For only 1.3 million they could have bought a new JD 9XR 830 😁. I'm with you on the wiring, trailer lights even give me trouble. I would be like a chicken looking at a card trick on the wiring he did!!o_O Those young men are talented.....impressive.
