Big Oil Leak

Help!!!!!!!!!! 1949 AR has sprung an oil leak right in the center of the tractor. Seems like it is coming from where the block is bolted to the transmission. 1936 B is starting to do the same thing. What is going on in garage????????

It is probably the gasket between the 2 of them. Most likely from the cold and now the heat. You might be able to slow it down if you tighten the bolts. I cleaned mine off with some thinner and used clear silicone and tightened the bolts. Worked for a while.

The gasket on the oil pump cover will develop a leak there. The oil pump gets a little water in it and a freeze will blow that gasket out.

Yep. Bolts were loose. Put the big wrench on them, problem solved!!!!!!!!!! Thanks.
