Big shop project

I have my 105 Deere combine in the shop for a complete going over. The biggest part is changing it from a variable speed drive to a hydraulic drive or hydro. I bought a parts machine with a hydro for the project. Yesterday we got the hardest part done which was changing the drive axle assembly. Lots more to do yet. Tom

Quite ambitious and I wish I had a shop this time of year. I was just walking around the 6620 combine yesterday thinking about what I could do if I did.

Looks like a fun project. I always wanted to run a 5 series combine. Someday i hope to find one to fix up
