BKT tractor tires

I am looking at some BKT 14.0 x 24 for my Ford Tractor. Are thy a decent Tire? Is Simple Tire good people to deal with. Prices look good. Only use tractor 20 hours a year.

I have had two sets of BKT rear tractor tires here, 8-10 years old, no problems. These tractors sit inside most of the time.

They seem to be good tires. David Brown 990 has them. No problems I've seen.

I just put a set on my 986 last fall before harvest, 18.4 by 34, 8 ply. They seem good I might get a another set to duel up my 1466 when I done with the working on it a repaint.

I have bought many tires from simple and never an issue! BKT have used their tires no issues. Probably not the best tire on the market but not junk for average use!

Had a set ohf13.6x38 BKT's on feed mixer tractor for 10 years, good results.

Put a set on my deere 830 2 cylinder in 2007, alot of plowing tractor pulls and roading it since ,very good tires no problem with tread or sidewalls

Check with local tire dealers first. Simple Tire advertises "free shipping" but their prices for the tires are higher. Guess what? Shipping is figured into the price. Then they tack an "oversized tire surcharge" on, and sales tax on something that should be farm exempt.

My tire dealer can beat them every time these days. Years ago they weren't as fee-happy and you could find good deals at Simple Tire, but not anymore.

Good point on larger tires! Smaller car tires ship Fed EX so not to bad.

As others have said they get positive reviews here. Low use is what causes tires to dry out and crack. try to keep it from going more than two months without at least a half hour of turning.

I have them on my 2810 and have not had any problems with them, sound ten years so far.

I've got several. No complaints. They're what I ask for if it's a daily user tractor.

I haven’t had any problems out of BKT tires. I find there are less lugs and lighter than name brand tires, but the hold air and go round and round just fine.

Have bought smaller tires from simple tire with no issues. Generally they are just drop shipping them from a regional warehouse.

I have a pair of BKT mounted on a JD 2350, I think that I bought them in 2013. They spent the first 5 years living outside since then in every night. No cracking or weather checking so far, they are loaded, tractor is used several times a week to feed hay.

Balkrishna Industries began operations in the year 1987 with the inauguration of its first off-highway tyre manufacturing facility in Aurangabad. Subsequent growth in business allowed the company to open new facilities in Dubai (2002) and Chopanaki (2006). It also diversified its product line by introducing tyres for ATV, earthmoving and gardening vehicles.

Balkrishna Industries is currently an OEM vendor for heavy equipment manufacturers like JCB, John Deere, and CNH Industrial. In 2014, BKT held a 8% market share of the global off-the-road tyre segment.[4]
Balkrishna Industries predominantly caters to the replacement market in North America and Europe. Its North American office is located in Akron, Ohio, with one warehouse in Wando, South Carolina.[5] About 80 percent of Balkrishna Industries' business in the United States is in the farm market.[6]

BKT Tires has been the official and exclusive tyre sponsor for Monster Jam (a competition involving monster trucks) since 2014.[7]
In July 2018, BKT purchased naming rights for Italian football's second division, Serie B for three years, with the league being known as Serie BKT under the agreement.[8]
On 15 January 2020, BKT signed an agreement with LFP to rename the French football second division as Ligue 2 BKT for four years.[9] The sponsorship deal was extended until 2028.[10]
On 2 September 2022, BKT were announced as northern hemisphere title sponsorship for the United Rugby Championship for three years.[11][12]
In cricket, BKT sponsored Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2023 Indian Premier League.
