Black diamond air compressor

Does anybody have any experience with the black diamond air compressor sold by Murdochs? Probably sold my other farm and home supply stores. I’m looking at the 20 gallon two cylinder. This is not used on a professional grade its home shop. Last one I had was a horror freight 10 gallon single cylinder I think I worked it to death valves in the top of the head broke. I backed them up with sheet metal and put it back together got about another two years but now it’s getting weak time to replace it.

In my opium, if you want one that will last, get a quincy.

In my opinion, Black Diamond is one of many marketing brands that try to promote that they have a premium product, but in reality they manufacture nothing. They exist as a sourcing exercise, searching for margin opportunities to "sell" their brand. Sometimes this works. Sometimes it doesn't. Interestingly, their website (from what I could quickly see) says nothing about manufacturing or even sourcing. It would not surprise me if Black Diamond products are made by the same plants that produce products for Harbor Freight.

Thanks for the replies
