Blue NAA?

Were any of the NAA s painted blue from the factory. My has an NAA serial number and everything on is appears to be NAA but the only thing I can find that is red is the steering box which was probably replaced. I have high pressure washed it and seem to be down to what appears to be the base layer, which is blue.

Not as a regular ag tractor for sale on a dealer lot, however maybe it was painted blue for a city/state/government contract or an airport tug rig or something like that.

Hee-Hee, this post comes up about every few months, but NO, FORD N's and Hundred Series Models were NEVER painted the Blue and White scheme at all at the Highland Park
Factory. The Blue & White paint scheme was not introduced until '61/'62 starting with the 6000 Model, and the first ones were still Vermillion (RED) and MED GREY. Now,
FORD was instructed to issue a program to dealers that offered a customer to bring in their older red and white models and have them painted with the new Blue & White
colors. Painting was done by the dealers at the dealers and never at the factory directly. It wasn't a lucrative program but many farmers just painted their tractors
themselves. My late Uncle Bernie told me when I took possession of my Grandfathers' 1939 early 9N when we sold the farm and had an auction that in 1965 he and his
brother Pat painted the 9N Blue & White. I'm restoring to all original the 9N now but it is still painted those colors. Don't worry, I do plan on painting the 9N back
to OEM Dark Grey. As our late, great FORD Sparkie Meister Dell used to say, ...it's your tractor, yuo can paint it enny color you like, except green & yeller...
