Blue Oliver

Saw this tractor in the local classifieds today.
At first glance I just assumed it was a farmer who wanted a blue tractor.
Then I saw the Oliver "Row Crop" decal over what appears to be original blue factory paint.

Could be a canning factory tractor that Oliver did custom paint on before it left the factory. There were a number of early 1950's Farmall's around here that the canning factory ordered painted white from IH.

I always figured that if it's yours,,,,, but, That's nasty! gm

That paint tended to turn blue in the sun, but the red on the wheels didn't. That's unusual. They painted some Super 77s blue and yellow for the Kansas Highway Department, but they were Supers and had wide fronts.

I'm still trying to remember if the original was cut like that? I trimmed the on on my 77 in to that shape when I put it on. I'll have to see if I can tell on my original 66.

I can't really tell on the 66. I can't feel or see any edge.

The only true blue Oliver's were the Kansas Turnpike tractors, that i remember
