Need to rebuild a Wisconsin VH4D engine in the 600 bobcat I have. Engine was rebuilt last year but the crankshaft broke recently. Possible cause could have been when it was welded up.

the specs I need are the fallowing:

Crankshaft end play
connecting rod bolt torque
head bolt torque

crankshaft end play .002-.004
connecting rod bolt torque 22-28 ft lbs
head bolt torque 22-24 ft lbs

The 600 Bobcat came with a VF4D engine rated at 25 horsepower

The 610 Bobcat came with a VH4D engine rated at 30 horsepower.

the information that you have requested is the same for both engines..

However::

the ignition timing on the VF4D is 27 degrees before TDC
the ignition timing on the VH4D is 23 degrees before TDC
