body filler ?

I have welded new metal for larger areas and have grinded it down so it is looking really good. However where the new metal meets the old there is small pits and little crevices. Is JB Weld a good product to be used for filling small imperfections,or is there a better product to use. I have heard bodo is not a good product to use on tractors.
Thanks again for you help and advice.

Bondo makes a top coat that comes pre mixed in a tube. It is great for filling pit marks and small imperfections. Smear it on, let it dry and sand it out, just like the regular bondo filler.
