have 1987 bolens tractor with Izek 3 cyl deisel engine after about 30 to 45 mins mowing heat lite comes on and have to stop for about 1 hr and let cool. changed thermastat, put on rebuilt raditor and had water pump checked. any help with this would be greatly app.
 
When replacing the radiator, did you flush the block? When an engine is really overheating, it stinks worse. Can you smell it? I would test the gauge's sending unit.
