have a 58 bolens with a kohler 7 h.p. having trouble with very little spark would like to know air gap on coil thanks paul

i set my coils at .020 on my kohler 7 hp or a thickness of a match book

Armature/coil; may be getting weak. Use a post card set over the magnets to get your clearance.
Touch those magnets with a flatblade screwdriver
and see if they have strong magnetism. If they appear to be weak that's probably your cause of weak fire to your plug. Hal
