Bolt Grade for Axle Extensions

Hello all -

Soon ready to bolt up the front end on the 9N. I needed to replace the four bolts that bolt the axle extensions to the main axle. Rather than going with standard grade, Tractor Supply also sells grade 5 and grade 8. So, I got the grade 5. After thinking about it more, maybe I should have gone with grade 8. What are other folks using?

Thanks,
Gary

You are fine and can sleep easy. You won't find any grade markings on the OEM fasteners because the SAE bolt grading system didn't exist when the N's were built.
