Bolt size for Model M doughnut wheel weights?

Hi all,

Just received some doughnut front wheel weights for my M and I was wondering if anyone knew off the top of their heads (didn't see it in the manual) the size and length of the bolts I'd need to properly secure them to the wheels. Tractor is over and hour away so don't have a reference point right now.

If you're refering to the 55 lb weights that go onto the early style wheels then the correct bolts are 1/2 x 2-3/4. The 65 lb weights used on the late model wheels used 1/2 x 2-1/2 carriage bolts.

Thanks much! Wish I would've made note of the stamping on the back of the weights. Regardless, this may be an adventure as I just noticed (new tractor to me) that I have two different front wheels, one cast and one steel. Ah the joys of a 60 year vehicle.
