bolts for hydraulic pump.

I need the size and length of the bolts that hold the 2 pumps together on a 9610 combine with the planetary drives. Deere does not or will not tell me in the parts for it on Deeres parts website. And if I go into my Deere dealer they can not hardly find the pumps let alone find the bolts. they are either metric or SAE in 5/16ths compared to the bolts holding the first pump on. I could drive the 10 miles to get the pump and cart it all over creation to find them. Just though maybe somebody had already been here and could tell me the bolt size and length and if metric or not. I'm getting so I hate this combine to work on because of this nonsense. There are 2 different set ups for htese one pump for the Pinoin drive models and one for the planetary drives ones. they discontinued the old style pump for this so have to get the 2 pump model and the bolts don't come with them. IF I buy parts from Worthington for it they are ASE bolts sizes and if I get them from Deere like wobble box or such then it is Metric bolts according to Deere yet the metric will not screw in on some parts nor ASE. Boy Metric bolts and sizes have sure screwed up the world. Rant over. Thanks for listening even though you feel the same.

Got the pump bolted on already they worked with 5/16ths bolts just never sure since some sizes are so close and yet will start but not work and sometimes by then the threads are ruined and depending on where you got the parts some are SAE and some are Not .Like a wobble box if gotten at Wothingtons it is SAE and if gotten from the Dealer then it may not be and both 5/8 and the metric 5/8 both will start close enough it is hard to tell which it is until you have already screwed the wrong one in and now it can be a problem of holding it tight on there. Just one of the problems we have encounters on that stand point.

The sae hex bolts heads have 0, 3, 5, or 8 lines of them depending on the grade.
The metric have 6.8, 8.8, 10.9 or 12.9 written on them, depending on.their strength.

It gets more complicated with allen screws, set screws, etc, were you really have to measure with a caliper or test with a nut.
Metric bolts: you measure diameter and length of ten threads.
Sae bolts: diameter and how many threads per inch.
