Bolts for weights

What size bolts do I need to put wheel weights on the rear wheels of a Farmall Cub?

seams you would be the best person to answer that by just measuring the holes and length you need instead of guesses.

Funny, I was just looking at the hardware required for my 1066 in the on-line parts catalog. Uses a special flat washer which I don't have enough of. I'd check the parts catalog if you want the correct hardware and not a hack job.

Edit to add, you don't have to buy common hardware from a dealer.

If you have both weights and tractor and know how to read a tape measure,you can easily figure it out.Your local TruValue store will have the hardware.

Per partstore.caseih.com, 1/2 x 3 carriage bolts with nuts and lock washers.

1/2"x3 carriage bolts will work on Cub Cadet, but Not on a Farmall Cub tractor. Cub Cadet uses 26# Cub
Farmall frt weights, Cub Farmall rear weight is 150#. I think they use 3/4" bolts, not sure of the
length.

manufacturer are careful to not add common dimensions to bolts and such. keeps folks coming back

You've got access to the information. I told you where I got it from.

I double-checked, and the parts book calls for 1/2" x 3" for the first set, or 1/2" x 6-1/4" for two sets of REAR weights.

The larger weights do use 3/4" bolts.

i am really curious why you need help to get bolts for weights? you dont need information when the items are in front of you, so easy.
