Bosch injection pump

Hello. I am attempting to help a farmer friend with an engine bought at auction. The wiring harness is a mess. I know electronics but not injection pumps. I need to know what the yellow arrow is pointing to in the picture.

This pump is on a "power unit" which is an engine mounted on a support stand. It is used to power a water pump for crop irrigation. The engine was built by CNH, Case New Holland, in 2010.

Looks like the fuel shut off solenoid to me.

The shut off is up on the head behind/hidden by the top end of the support plate bolted on the back. I would say this plug has something to do with the advance, maybe for starting.

That is the timing advance

That's the cold advance solenoid. The fuel off/on solenoid is the one on TOP of the hydraulic head. Get your wallet out if that pump ever needs repair, it can shoot thee grand in a hurry when it grenades inside.
