Both clutches sticking

I have a wd45 and both clutches don't seem to want to disengage fully. The foot clutch worse than the hand clutch. Is there anything I can do short of putting a new clutch in? The tractor has been sitting for about ten years and I took it all apart and got everthing running again. But I am still having trouble here and there. Any input is appreciated

a lot of time the sticking is due to engine oil weeping around the wick or crank shaft seal and getting onto the plates. Pull the starter motor. push the clutch pedal down and lock it. get a weed sprayer full of hot water and laundry soap andn soak it good thru the top, bottom, everywhere you can get. let it set for 5 minutes, the flush with a garden hose.. do it again. Blow it out with compressed air and reinstall the starter... test.

Probably the best thing you can do is get it hooked to an implement and work the tractor for a couple of Hours..
Put a "Good" load on it and use each clutch...
The Hand clutch usually does need a little input to stop it the 1st time it is released, for that day's use..
I leave my Hand clutch in the released position, when the tractor is stored..
These were pretty High-performance tractors in their day and have clutches designed for Hard Use...!!!

And I'll add that a good shop manual like I&T or the Allis Chalmers ones will tell you how to properly adjust the clutches.
