Bought a Weed Wacker

Wife bought a cheaper Craftsman string trimmer for me for Father's day, it may have been a hint that I should get out in the yard and trim! I would have bought a Milwaukee since I have all kinds of Milwaukee battery powered tools, but I have been pretty impressed with how long this thing will run on a charge. I have gas trimmers too but haven't used them for several years. I got sick of pulling the cord for half an hour to get them going after they sat over the winter.

I weed wack very little, told the boss lady, if I can't get it from the seat of the mower its just gonna grow. I bought her a light wt. Husqvarna gass weed wacker ez start, she used it a few times, now she pays the grandson to do it. Win win for me. gobble

My wife took care of an old lady that liked to work in her yard. When she was 95 I got her a battery powered weed wacker. It was a cheapo B&D,and was supposed to last about 20 minutes. That was fine with her,she said she would be all done in herself by then. After the first day she called and said she needed another battery.I kind of assumed she dropped it and broke it,but I just went and got her a new battery and took it to her.Turns out she was outlasting the battery and could last last through two of them.

Bought the wrong one.
Husqvarna Battery powered.

Battery is too big.

It's supposed to run down before me.

IT don't. No excuse to quit.:cool:
I have a small Worxs battery trimmer - can do 1/2 of our building site, then it runs out of battery (and I do too). 😁
And never mind that it has two batteries.
When one runs out... it's a sign!! 🤣

I'm pretty "old school" and never thought that I would ever like battery powered tools. But I'm impressed with the battery powered stuff so far.
I'm with you on that same issue. I was probably on 3th gas blower over the years, they work good when they start. My daughter gave me a battery operated blower for
Christmas. I was very impressed with it. My city banned gas powered blowers. Now I can used it in my mowing jobs around the city to clean up the edges next to the road. No need to use a broom any more. Stan
