I have a question about the brake pawls on a 1941 Ford 9N.
So I've read that the right side brake pawl is larger than the left and that the left side is down and the right side is up.
Now I can only find one size on the internet and most of the people talking about the different sizes of brake pawls are talking about 8N's.
Now my brake pawls are both the same size and I've installed them both teeth up. With the teeth down on the pawl, the pawls will catch, not allowing the brake arm to travel the full distance.
So I assume, but want to make sure before I finish painting and assembly, that I have these pawls setup correctly or not. Also can someone let me know if the different size pawls are only for the 8N's?
Thanks
Kevin
