Brakes are stuck

I have to move several old JD two-cylinder tractors. Two are late A's, one is a Late BWH, and one is a wartime B. I actually have two
wartime B's (44) with very close serial numbers, probably built the same day. They have been sitting for over 15 years with the brakes
set. Most of them won't release. What is the best method to release them? I have been using a big hammer and bad words but it doesn't
seem to be working. Any ideas that might help?

Remove the three bolts holding the brake assembly and pull them to move your tractors. Otherwise move them with a loader tractor.

Careful hammering on those brake drums. I have cracked a few doing that ! Best to remove the complete assembly like the others say to do.

Better words and a megaphone. One of my sons left the brakes set on my 44 B, Soakedwith PB Blaster for three weeks, then lots of light tapping.
