Are bearing parts avaible anyplace for the older drag type cultimulchers? This is the model that you could just use the front roller by itself, the tooth section by itself or put both rollers together as a double cultipacker.

i also have an old brillion cultipacker, the back rollers axle bearings are worn bad, but the old cultipacker still does a great job.

i understand the bearings in my packer are Babbitt bearings and you have to melt the material and pour your own bearings. Reason i have never tried to replace them.
however, this may not be true, but no one i found had new bearings, but it works ok as is.

Great tools, grass will sure come up much better if the ground is rolled after sowing grass seed.

Have never heard of babbit bearings in a packer, wood yes but not babbit. I know Brillion made some units with roller bearings. This friend has a cultimulcher that only one of the 4 bearings is bad and it has wore the axle hole about an inch up into the housing. They are supposed to be unbolting it and taking it apart so I can see what it actually has in there. The axle looks like about a 2 1/2" shaft. Just wondering if any companys still have any parts. This unit is pulled with horses.

try here they never not had a bearing i needed

What would realy help me help my friend is if somebody would have or know where to find a parts list for this outfit so I could actually know what is supposed to be in there.
