brush gaurd bolt size

I got my brush gaurd/bumper for my NAA finally..Does anyone know the correct bolt size to use to attach it?

koolNAA........front bumper/brush guard used 5/8-dia
bolts of sufficient length to hold everything
together. While the original bolts were "fine-
thread"........donnna'mucka round, use the more
readily available grade-5 5/8-coarse thread bolts
and washers and nuts. They are plenty strong.

I used 5/8 x 4" fine thread grade 8.Don't ask me why.
