Buda Forklift Distributor

The gear on this distributor shaft needs to be replaced, any ideas or places I may be able to find either a different distributor or replacement gear? Any help is much appreciated as I need to get this forklift running. Thank you.

Try Steve at B&B Custom Circuits. He does a good bit with Allis Chalmers electrical stuff for the guys on the other Allis Chalmers forum website.

Delco-Remy #1111707, date code 7D5, 1/2" shaft diameter, driven gear has 9 teeth.

I think it's a Waukeshaw. 4 cylinder, lp gas. It's old, probably early 50's.

Like Jim says, above, it's much easier to search for the distributor if you have the engine specifics, like make, model number and age. Otherwise you are just searching by the distributor number, and other numbers may fit your application. steve

Once upon a time Napa had a separate catalog for accessories and all sorts of items not found in other catalogs. My missing copy has a section for distributor drive gears. You could ask Napa.

I found my Napa Balkamp catalog from 1994 and it only lists Ford and Chrysler Autolite , nothing Delco.
