Anyone know what happened to my ole buddy buickanddeere? I checked and he hasn't posted since 09-12-11. Did he join JDemaris?

Could be a border issue! I'll guess there's a rogue border agent up around here somewhere with something against tractor people. Or maybe a directive from the "Homeland security dep't." ?!
Guess I'll stay away from the border, but then I don't have their knowlwedge, so I'm probably not on anybody's radar!

Yes I agree that he does have a lot of knowledge but the thing that amused me if I proved him wrong or challenged what he stated he would immediately try to change the subject. John Demaris also has a vast amt of knowledge.

Just returned from two weeks of moose hunting
this afternoon.
30 miles,no roads between camp and the closest
cell tower or phone line.
If you want to feel good? Have your Mommy bring
you some milk with your cookies.
Want an answer that may or maynot point out
somebody made an error. Well sooner or later
somebody will become insulted. Most people including myself get cranky when we mess something
up.

Glad you made it back we were starting to miss you...

We went home with our limit of Walleye and had several good feeds of fish.
The weather was bright, clear and daytime temps too hot. The moose have grown in some of their winter coats already. Rather than traveling in search "romance". They are laying in mud bogs trying to stay cool.
One early morning that did provide frost. The crisp air happened to coax one bull out for a stroll. Unfortunately the non Canadian hunter with us missed the shot.
There were bears around and their presence sent the cows and calves into hiding. Less movement means fewer scent trails for the bears to follow. Of course the bulls stayed close to the cows.
We returned to camp to find some of the coolers over turned, one missing and a beer sampled. We found the remaining cooler had been rolled on it's wheels down the trail and some meat missing.
The rest of the group left while I stayed back on the camp roof. Less than 2hrs later the bear returned up the trail. Just before taking the shot the bear detoured into the outhouse and stayed there some time. While tempted I didn't blast holes in the privy and spread deceased bear components inside. The bear finally re-appeared carrying the plastic de-odourizer.
Thus with the question answered "does a bear take a dump in the woods"? The bear suffered lead poisoning.

You need to watch more nature shows. They state to hang your food in a tree high enough a bear can't reach it.

On the question: does a bear poop in the woods? Correct answer is:not if he's a Polar Bear :lol:

1st time that have had a bear. We are north enough
they few that used to be around were hibernating.
This year however being so warm and with the urban
bunny huggers banning the spring bear hunt.The bear
population has exploded. The increased density has
pushed bears outside of their normal range.
Next year the food will have to be all indoors.

You still need to watch the nature shows where it shows the bears breaking auto windows to get to FOOD.
