building a solid 3rd mount to disable the draft control

I have ordered a " Zane Thang" from Zane Sherman . After replacing the control valve in the pump of my 1948 TE 20 I have a better understanding of how the system works. ( I think )
The draft control like-3rd member of the 3 point responds to differences in pressure which occur when plowing. Would it help to build a solid 3rd member mount and disconnect the draft control link? Purpose would be to have my bush hog stay where set with the control linkage. Seems that the draft control linkage causes movement of the control valve which causes problems with position control when using implements such as a bush hog.
I had difficulty removing the lift arms from the rocker shaft. Found a way to remove them when they're rusted on due to years of sitting outside. Let me know if anybody is interested and I will let you know what I did with success.

Unless the Control Valve moves the hydraulics wont work, it doesn"t matter if you add Zane"s Thang or not, the control valve has to move. If you fit a Zane Thang it will hold it in the position you pre-set it on the lever. You can also set the tractor to control the height of the front of the Hog and it will do it automatically and you mow. But you decide which system you want to go with and use it. You leave the top link in the normal position and use the Zane Thang if you want to do it that way, no reason to start disabling things, you are going about it the hard way about it if you do.
