bush hog quit cutting

Today while bush hogging with my 1950 8n side mount,it just quit cutting.The pto will not engage,tractor moves fine.while trying to engage the pto
lever there is a slight grinding noise.Please help,

emove round side cover(S) so you can look and feel that linkage is moving correctly and not bent as inone of these pictures.

thats well detailed. i see bent shifter too. i like well detailed pictures when i work on stuff
