I used about 2 long piece of bar stock a bit larger than the OD of the seal. In the lathe I bored a hole in it to give a no slop slip fit over the crankshaft and a shallow taper on the outside. With the bolts loose push it in to center the cover and tighten the bolts, done. Been 15 years since I worked on a B125 but if I can find it you can have it. If I remember correctly you can install the cover loose, slide the seal on the shaft up next to the cover and then eye ball the alignment. I made a tool because I own a lathe and had the bar stock in the scrap bin.

Thank you. That is what I was thinking also. I have a friend with a lathe, now to find a piece of stock.
Thanks again
Dale
Im in frankfort ky area how far apart are we ?

Butch would your tool work if a speedi sleeve was put on the shaft? I have two B's and it's a pain trying to line up the cover. If you would find your tool and Dale2 would not be interested in it I surely would buy it from you. Mike

As I remember my sons 38B has a S Sleeve
and I used it. I'll take a look around
tomorrow. I keep such things in one place
