Bypass neutral switch?

Can I bypass the neutral safety switch? I need the tractor todaiy.

The neutral safety switch is just that...a safety switch to prevent the tractor from starting when in gear.

Yes, you can bypass it, but I would do it only for test or in situations such as yours and I would only start it when on the tractor seat.

If it starts in gear it can cause damage or worse a tragedy.

Sorry, forgot to say is MkF 165. Appreciate replies and concerns. I grew up on tractors ( 9N and AC WD) before safety switchs and you had to learn to think before iyou actded. I got her goingk!
