I'm running what I believe is a c28 international 3 pt hitch sickle bar mower behind a ford 9n. Someone gave me this mower and it has taken me a bit to get it working right but actually it mows pretty well. I'm having a problem with the belt however. I have a B48 v belt on it but it always flips over after using it a little. Any solutions for this? Probably I'll wear the belt out pretty quick with it flipped over... Go to a B47, assuming I can get it on there?

A flipping belt often is worn out. Misaligned pulleyscan also cause this, but you would see that if it were that severe. My old Hydroswing would flip the belt when it got worn. It looked ok,but would flip/roll. A new belt fixit. I would replace the belt on your mower.

The belt is rolling over because you have the wrong belt. I have one of these mowers. The belt I run is a C51 and it has a 15/16" top width. It should be almost flush with the outside diameter of the pulley. There are 2 different pully diameters. One high speed and one slow speed. Looking at the parts manual, the fast speed one is the most used. I also show a Goodyear number of 20042183 for the same belt. Let me know if this will work for you. IF it does not, I have a Gates number for it also, but I have to do some more digging.
