c belly mower

I have a C with belly mower it will not lift with the Hyd. any help thanks

Need more info is it a sickle bar or other type of mower?? Do you have the PTO in gear and clutch pedal up?? Do you have the correct amount of fluid in the system etc etc

Do you know if the pump is even working?

If it is a service manual has a good section in it on adjusting the pump.

Alot of air in the system will give you problems also.

was the lift working and then quit, or never worked ? You have to have a 20 or 30 wt oil in the transmission/ pto case to work, not 90 wt gear lube.. Check the level by your left foot on the trans case- the 1 inch pipe plug.

take the hose off at the vlave/ pump at the right rear corner of the seat. start tractor and see if you get any oil slowly running out of the pump with motor running.

20w-non detergent motor oil works fine in that transmission.
