I have a 69 Chevy C50 truck that I am fixing up and I have a hard time finding parts for it. are there any places out there that have medium duty truck parts for these old trucks? any Info would be appreciated

if you find one let me know, im doing a '57 4400, what ive found so far is there is virtually nothing out there new unless it also fits the regular pickups then lmc is your friend

Local mechanic here that works on a lot of old farm trucks has fairly good luck finding parts. He told me when looking for brake parts, for example, providing any of the numbers cast on the brake cylinders or master cylinder, helps the parts supplier find what you need. Find good local parts suppliers as the GM dealers often rely only on the part number in their book "it's no longer available." Wreckers are a good source especially if they have a lot of old school buses - many common parts there. Cab parts have a lot of common pieces with pickups. It takes some digging but it can be done. The mechanic I mentioned above has worked on my '65 and '73 Chevies and hasn't been stumped yet.

You can keep searching ebay too, I have a 74 C60 and have found some nos parts on there. Many are from dealers, buy it now or best offer, and are legit long time sellers.

I have a 74 C50 for sale if anyone interested, Cab not much , good two cyl lift and almost new Jasper motor, less than 5000mi on motor
