CA Front Wheel Wobble

I have a narrow front CA that leaks fluid from the steering pedistal and the front wheels wobble some. I'm thinking bearings and seals. Anything else? Good source for parts? Thanks.

There are shims that can be removed to take out some gear slop. You need a service manual.

ted is right get a manual the gear slop causes wheel wobble.

mine did the same took it off and my shimms were already removed so I found a very large very thin washer put it under my big thick washer and it pulled it up no slack drives good.

When I did my CA several years ago Napa had the seals and lower bearing for the pedestal. I did rebuild the Ross steering box at the same time replacing the pins that ride in the worm gear. Drives as good as new!

Thanks everyone. I do have a manual, just double checking with you guys. I am mostly Ferguson guy, don't know much about AC. I have pedistal off. It leaks also, so has to have seal replaced for sure. What I'm hearing is it is likely the shims, not the bearings, that cause the wobble....
