cab swap

I have a 1950 11/2 ton chev. that my dad bought new and I"ve
been wanting to restore it. It has a 216 6 cylinder in it and as everyone knows has a very rough ride.I also have a 1982 GMC
1 ton with a 350 and automatic trans.I was wondering what you guys think about me putting the 1950 ton and a half on the one ton frame.How much trouble would it be and do you think it would look OK .I know I would have to install bigger tires. The cab is the same size as the half and one ton trucks just has bigger fenders and longer hood. Would probally have to make the frame a little longer.

check how wide you front tires are outside to outside i bet it will be to wide for your front fenders
