wanting to know if I should have my cam ground for my H. it has a 6 inch crank the cam is stock. wanting to know if it will work a 20% over on rpm or does the lobe centers need changed
 
You can run it that way but you are not getting all the true power out of it. A good cam guy will ask you on the bore size the stroke and about the rpms you want to run to be in the motors power band.
