Can you identify these?

I my trading with a friend, I picked up an old tool box that had lots of old tractor/vehicle parts in it. It looked like it hadn’t been touched in 50 years.
In it was these 2 items I’m wondering about. The first is a glass in line ???. Is it a level indicator, a filter missing the element? I bet someone here knows.
The next are things that could be shims. They are brass, maybe bronze. The OD is 4.600”. I put my hand in the pic to show approximate size.
I’m just curious. Any insights are appreciated.

The glass could be a moisture collector in an air line.
The shims look just like the thrust shims I put in my Model T rear end.

Might be able to reverse search that part number on the tag. Can you make out what it says? Looks like the last four digits are 228A... They do look like shims from something...

Thanks for the replies Ricard and Scooter. There is still a lot of this stuff in old barns here in Maine. And there are a lot of old barns in Maine.
Picture of some of the other things in the old toolbox.

I see an MS carb float, Thrust washers that fit over brass pins (for what I don't know), and Crank knuckles to screw into the snout of a crankshaft, where the two pins on the crank handle engage in the ramped slots. And engine main bearing bolts set for keeper wires.
