can't understand model numbers

I have Oliver 1650 Hydro drive. Runs great - seems well taken care of.
The model number I have shown is 165-1106. This number doesn't compare to those I've found. What year is it?

Bought at auction and owner had already moved out of state.

Serial number 52 (space, no dash) 083-452

The serial number reveals the year. Most likely there is a 1 in front of the 5, making the serial number 152083, which is a 1964 (the last three digits are the transmission code). 1964 would also correspond with the model designation 165, which was the first generation of the 1650.

Is it a narrow front gas tractor?

Thank you much.

Used oil on a felt pen and rubbed across serial number and wiped off fast. There is a 1. So 152083 as you have.

Wide front. I call the loader on the heavy duty side. Good rubber on the ground. No leaks to speak of. Doesn't smoke. Anything above idle shows 30 for oil pressure. All gauges work - clean, easy to see.
Starts in heart beat.

Looks pretty good. Your model number may have a 2 before the "1106," as 2 was used to denote the wide front axle, at least on the later ones it was.

You can also call the Floyd County museum in Charles City, IA and for a $35? fee they'll send you a copy of the original build card/data for that tractor. It's neat stuff, at least to me.

No name on it anywhere. Brother said cost on the end loader was around $2200 to $2500. It will dig, lift and push. Used it a couple hours ago to bulldoze out the old railroad bed on our property - had downed trees for near 50 yards.
