Carb fuel/gas level

Hi everyone, I need some advice about the Zenith carb fuel level for my 1948 TEA 20. The archives mention a few different things and maybe they relate to different tractors and carb models and even float level heights which might be different. I don’t necessarily want to measure the float itself because that might be tricky. I have already checked the current level by attaching a plastic tube to the bottom drain hole on the carb and its 10mm below the gasket, which I think might be too high. Thanks in advance, Geoff

Are you experiecing starting and running problems with the tractor? I don't know much about the zenith carbs but 10 mm below the cgasket sounds a bit much. Holler for John(UK). He is a lot more knowledgable about the TEA's than I.
