Carb question

Hi all
I have a 52 8n side mount I bought a couple of years ago and have been putting it together a little at a time. I took the carb apart a while back and am trying to put it back together but the jet under the main is too small to fit in. I can"t remember if it had one there at all. I know it"s the right one because I bought it separately and the part # is right. My question is do some not have that jet? There was a little plug on the outside I took off and the jet will just fall through.

Thanks for the help!

Hi Gary
My cell is broken so I can't call. I'm showing in my FO-4 there
is a main jet under the main nozzle? Is that not the right hole?
It just drops right through. I really appreciate your help!

OK....so, you are trying to install the main jet!!!...AND yer tryin' to put it in the Right hole!!!
Way down in that passage, under the nozzle, is another connecting hole with the thread to match the threads on the jet.!!!!
Drop the threaded end of the jet into the passage, then with the right sized screwdriver in the jets slot....turn it clockwise until the jet snugs up tight in the passage.!!!
Then install the nozzle over the jet.....same hole!!!

ALL DONE.....

Need more help??? Just ask!!!
