carb settings

I have a MF 410 combine with a Chevy gas engine. It was running rough so I pulled the carb off to clean it. Got it all shined up and am putting it back together but need the float level settings for it. The carb is a Marvel-Schebler VHO 4724. Dose anyone have the specs for this carb.

This is a pretty old combine but I only have 30 acres of oats to do this year.

Ya would thro that one out , No i don't have the spec's on that one but when in doubt try setting it to where the fuel bowl is 2/3rds full and it should be real close.

I tried setting that float 15 different places, just can't get that sucker to run. Will idle OK, but advance the throttle no power, cough, snort, backfire and blow out smoke. Sounds like its getting too much gas, but no way to lean it out. I parked that old beast, gets parted out after this.
