I have either a Ford 2n or 9n. When adjusting the carb it doesn’t seem like it is doing anything at all when moving the adjustment screws. Any ideas why that could be? Also, where could i purchase a reliable new replacement?

If the adjustments don't do anything well that means you have clogged circuits in the carb and it need to be rebuilt. As for buying a replacement carb this site has them but a rebuilt M/S is the best way to go and most likely the only way to go and not have more problems

Hi 8N jdawg,
Is this a new/old aluminum clone, new/old cast iron clone, Marvel Schebler, or Zenith, or...?
Pics are 👍

Could be plugged up as old posted.:)

How does it run?

If the main jet is too small, once the main adjusting needle is open to that orifice size, turning it out farther would not increase fuel to the nozzle.

Idle mix screw changes are usually noticeable at low rpm (400 -600 ish) and from seated to about 1 1/2 turns out.
